Data Recovery FAQ
Hard Disk Failure Ata Password

Question:

Hard Disk Failure - I forgot the hard disk lock passwords in my notebook and I need to access my data. Is there any way to recover the data? This is not BIOS password.

Answer:

Modern hard disk ATA IV and above support hard disk password locking so user will not be able to access the drive without the correct password. Moving a locked hard disk to another machine will not help as the passwords are stored in reserved area on disk platter (and some times in drive's EEPROM). The security also has some strict anti-hacked features.

We have the necessary knowledge and experience to retrieve your data.
